Foothills Primary Care Clinic - Alberta

Foothills Primary Care Clinic in North West Calgary is looking for interested Family Physicians to work in a PCN supported clinic. We are walking distance to University of Calgary Medical school, Foothills Medical Centre and the University of Calgary.

Foothills Primary Care Clinic is a vibrant full service family practice established in 2013, made up of 16 physicians working a minimum of 16 hours per week. The clinic management is supported by our local Primary Care Network, allowing the physicians to focus on delivery of care to a full spectrum of patients in NW Calgary. We have excellent nursing and support staff in a well equipped office space and access to pharmacy, dietician, behavioral therapists, and community support workers. Physicians provide primary care including women’s and men’s health, well child health, contraceptive management, and minor surgical treatment. We use Wolf for office records, scheduling and communication. We have after hours coverage through Access 365 Clinic. The Calgary PCN offers extensive community educational programs for patients being treated for chronic conditions and has established excellent consultation support through specialist link and other extended care services.

We would love to show you around our clinic! We are are looking for full and part time associates, and/or locums on an ongoing basis. Physicians have an annually renewable contract and office overhead is flat rate for associates and 30/70 split plus for locums.

Meadow Lake - Saskatchewan  

Meadow Lake is a lovely rural community in Northern Saskatchewan. Work in a place where you can experience the Canadian North. Located 300 km northwest of Saskatoon there’s opportunities for an exciting, and fulfilling medical practice, and outdoor recreation just outside your door. We provide comprehensive care to Meadow Lake and surrounding area. We do full scope family medicine including primary care clinics, ER call, management of inpatients and obstetrics. Anticipated call would be 1:8 for ER call and 1:5 for obstetrics call (varying on how many providers are available). We strive to be a very flexible group, with some providers doing more ER call and some doing more clinic time based on their interests. We have a blended payment model which includes an hourly rate as well as fee for service billing. As a physician group we are engaged in community based medical education for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Local CME opportunities include MoreOB, PBL, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. The clinic is a primary care clinic supported by in office RN case managers, chronic disease educators, dietician, pharmacist and a mental health worker. We are the northern most surgical obstetrics provider in the province. This is an opportunity to provide medicine to an underserved population. There are positions available for family physicians, as well as family physicians with enhanced skills in surgery or anesthesia.

Innisfail Medical Clinic - Alberta

If you’re looking for a rural practice (not remote) that is well supported, flexible, and in a team environment, come check us out! We have 10 total docs in our clinic, 9 are CCFP certified, and 7 have completed residency since 2012. We know what it’s like to be ‘new in practice’ and we have a great support system established.

Innisfail is 20 minutes south of Red Deer, just off Highway 2, with a population of about 8,000 people. We have a 28 bed inpatient ward, emergency department, and 78 bed long term care.

Each of our practices is varied. Most have a mix of emergency, hospital, LTC, and clinic. Three of our docs do prenatal care and deliveries (at Red Deer Regional Hospital).

We built a new clinic in 2017. We’re part of the Wolf Creek PCN, and our clinic is staffed with a social worker, psychologist, exercise specialist, foot care nurse, geriatrics RN, and 2 LPNs. We’re actively involved in medical education, and train residents/medical students. We have peer led education lunches.

We’re looking to grow our group practice with dynamic individuals. Our goal is to deliver excellence in primary care, through teamwork, in a fun, enjoyable workplace.

Elite Sports Medicine - Alberta

Elite Sports Medicine(ESM) is a new, dynamic multidisciplinary Sports Medicine clinic in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. We are currently recruiting a Family Physician with an interest in Sports Medicine to assist our growing practice. Our mission is to empower, educate, and bring hope to others by optimizing health and performance through a progressive, collaborative approach.

ESM is comprised of physicians, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and a chiropractor. Our clinic treats acute and chronic MSK and sports-related injuries, including acute injuries, chronic overuse injuries, concussion management, uncomplicated fracture care, and provides various injection therapies, including visco-supplementation, prolotherapy, PRP, and ultrasound-guided injections. We also have a small, loyal family practice patient panel. Interested physicians will have the opportunity to share and shape their own family practice patient panel, see sports medicine patients in follow-up, and assist in sports event coverage. We are willing to train interested candidates in sports medicine, including injection therapies and ultrasound- guided injections, to enhance their own MSK skillset. ESM is an active member of the Chinook Primary Care Network and offers administration, billing, and medical support staff to physicians with a fee split of 75/25. We function efficiently in a modern space with two exam rooms (per physician), standing nurses’ station, small gym, and shared team meeting space. All providers operate within a single EMR. CrossCancer Institute - Alberta

If you are a family or internal medicine physician, who would love to provide medical inpatient care in a unique oncology setting, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and are interested in working as part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

The Cross Cancer Institute (CCI) is a free-standing integrated cancer treatment and research facility that functions as the tertiary oncology referral centre for Northern Alberta. It has a strong record of basic and translational research as well as clinical trial activity in oncology.

We are seeking qualified physicians for our well established and successful Hospitalist Program. The Program provides high quality responsive care for patients going through chemotherapy and radiation treatments, also managing toxicities of treatment and complications of their cancer. Team members play a valuable role in the delivery of care to oncology patients requiring hospitalization. Core services include daily scheduled care, assessment of new patients for admission to the program, performing necessary procedures and after hours support.

Positions available: Part-time and full-time
Qualifications: Must be eligible for licensure and in good standing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta. Previous medical inpatient care experience is an asset.
Compensation: Contractual with compensation in alignment with Provincial Base Payment Rates for General Practice
